Hicks Thomas Partner Stewart Hoffer Honored for Excellence in Corporate Employment Law

Nationally recognized trial attorney named to Lawdragon 500 Leading Corporate Employment Lawyers for fourth consecutive year

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--On the heels of his recent recognition as one of the nation’s top trial lawyers, Hicks Thomas partner Stewart E. Hoffer has been named to the 2026 edition of the Lawdragon 500 Leading Corporate Employment Lawyers, a “guide to the nation’s best advisors on the world of employment and labor law.”

Lawdragon states that its honorees, who are selected through nominations, staff research, and vetting by peers and clients, represent the best of the best in dealing with compensation and benefit issues, wage and hour disputes, discrimination complaints, trade secrets, and non-compete agreements.

This honor marks the fourth consecutive year Mr. Hoffer has been named to Lawdragon’s Leading Corporate Employment Lawyers guide and comes less than one month after he was also recognized on the Lawdragon 500 Leading Litigators in America list for 2026.

Board certified in civil trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Mr. Hoffer has handled cases on behalf of publicly traded and privately held companies in courts all over the country. In addition to Lawdragon, his work has been honored by The Best Lawyers in America and Texas Super Lawyers.

“Getting things done is the business of our country, and it is essential for employment lawyers to represent our clients effectively in matters of critical importance to employers,” said Mr. Hoffer. “I am humbled to be named to such a distinguished list of fellow employment lawyers and honored to represent some of the nation’s finest employers.”

“We are pleased that Stewart’s work stands out among both his clients and our peers,” said Hicks Thomas partner John B. Thomas. “He is deserving of all the recognition that continues to come his way.”
