unWired Broadband to Host Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for NextGen Fiber Network in Wasco, CA

WASCO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--unWired Broadband, a premier high-speed Internet provider in California, is proud to announce they have begun installing customers on their cutting-edge NextGen Fiber Internet network in Wasco, CA. Once complete, their $10 million investment will deliver Internet speeds up to 5 Gbps to the entire City of Wasco, totaling nearly 6,000 addresses. Construction is slated to continue throughout the rest of 2025, with an expected completion date of February 2026.

To celebrate this exciting milestone in the City of Wasco, unWired will be hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony on September 25, 2025 at 9:00am on the corner of Central and Filburn. The event will feature remarks from local officials and unWired executives, as well as a photo opp. The media and public are invited to attend and witness the start of a new era of connectivity in Wasco.
