Guild Mortgage Ranks Second Among Mortgage Servicers in the J.D. Power 2025 U.S. Mortgage Servicer Satisfaction Study℠

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Guild Mortgage, an award-winning mortgage company founded in 1960, ranked second among servicers nationwide in the J.D. Power 2025 U.S. Mortgage Servicer Satisfaction Study.

In this year’s highly anticipated mortgage servicer study conducted by J.D. Power, one of the country’s most trusted data leaders and industry benchmarks for consumer sentiment, Guild Mortgage ranked second in customer satisfaction among evaluated banks and mortgage lenders in the study. This ranking demonstrates Guild’s commitment to sustained customer excellence and personalized attention throughout the borrower journey.

“At Guild, we’ve always believed that exceptional service builds trust and lasting relationships. Being ranked second among mortgage servicers in the J.D. Power 2025 U.S. Mortgage Servicer Satisfaction Study is a powerful statement about our team’s dedication to earning and keeping that trust every day,” said Terry Schmidt, Chief Executive Officer at Guild Mortgage. “In a year when satisfaction scores across the industry declined, Guild improved. We’re honored by this result and remain committed to delivering the kind of service that homeowners can rely on.”

As Guild prepares to partner with Bayview Asset Management later this year, this ranking is a strong step forward in maximizing customer experience and making the mortgage application process smoother and more efficient from start to finish.

The annual J.D. Power U.S. Mortgage Servicer Satisfaction Study compiles and analyzes detailed feedback from customers who have worked with their mortgage lender for a minimum of a year. This year’s survey was based on 15,912 individual responses from May 2024 to May 2025. Results of the 2025 Mortgage Servicer Satisfaction Study can be reviewed here.
