NHN Announces Official Title of New Puzzle Game: ‘[OSHI NO KO]Match Star’

Title Revealed at Major Fan Event

Global Launch Planned for 2026 Alongside Anime Season 3

SEOUL, South Korea--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NHN (KRX: 181710, CEO: Woojin Jung) today announced that its upcoming puzzle game based on the hit anime [OSHI NO KO] will officially be titled [OSHI NO KO]Match Star.

As the first official game adaptation of the franchise, [OSHI NO KO]Match Star is being developed and published globally by NHN, with the exception of Japan, where publishing will be handled directly by KADOKAWA, the IP owner. The game is scheduled for release in 2026, aligning with the broadcast of the anime’s third season.

The title was first unveiled on September 14 at the [OSHI NO KO]Summer Festival in Tokorozawa Sakura Town, Saitama, Japan. Recognized as one of the franchise’s flagship fan events, the festival included exclusive anime updates and live programming, with the game title announcement highlighted as one of the key moments.

Based on the manga by Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari, [OSHI NO KO] gained wide acclaim following its anime adaptation broadcast from 2023 to 2024. Its realistic portrayal of the entertainment industry and memorable characters have attracted a strong global following. With Season 3 confirmed to air in 2026, expectations for the franchise continue to rise.
