Veteran Executive Brings Decades of Leadership and Transformation Expertise to Drive Value Across ZCG’s Portfolio

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ZCG Consulting, LLC (“ZCGC”), the business consulting platform of Z Capital Group, LLC (“ZCG”) and a results-oriented management consulting firm, today announced the engagement of Michael Buenzow as Senior Managing Director, Head of C-Suite & Board Advisory. In this role, Mr. Buenzow will partner with leadership teams across ZCG portfolio companies to enhance senior leadership capabilities, optimize operational and financial strategies, and advance long-term growth initiatives.

Mr. Buenzow brings over 25 years of experience advising C-suite leaders across a diverse range of industries. From 2002 to 2025, he served as Senior Managing Director and Vice Chairman of Restructuring at FTI Consulting, where he led large-scale transformations, restructurings, and high-growth initiatives for public and private companies as well as sponsor-backed companies. Before joining FTI, Mr. Buenzow was a Partner at PWC.
