CARFAX Canada Unveils Top 10 Most VIN-Cloned Vehicles and Launches New Tool to Protect Used Car Buyers

LONDON, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--New CARFAX Canada data reveals the country's most VIN cloned vehicles with the Ford F-150, RAM 1500, and the Jeep Wrangler topping the list¹. VIN cloning, also known as re-vinning, is a type of auto fraud where criminals copy legitimate Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) onto stolen vehicles, affecting more than 372,000 vehicles nationwide².
