Allyant Opens State-of-the-Art Alternative Print Production Facility, Doubling U.S. Production Footprint

Salt Lake City facility exponentially expands alternative format production capacity while providing the highest standards of data privacy and security

OTTAWA, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Allyant, the leader in accessible digital, document, and alternative format print communications solutions today announced the opening of its new, state-of-the-art alternative format communications production facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. The facility more than doubles Allyant’s U.S.-based alternative format processing and production footprint to meet increasing customer needs.

“As demand continues to grow for secure, compliant alternative communication formats, our new Salt Lake City facility represents a strategic investment in the most cutting-edge technology,” said Ariel Kunar, Allyant’s Chief Executive Officer. “This expansion allows us to scale with our customers’ evolving needs while maintaining the highest standards of data security and privacy—foundational to Allyant’s decades-long commitment to the industry.”

Like Allyant’s other production facilities, the Salt Lake City operation is capable of delivering to HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and SOC 2 Type 2 standards. Additionally, a custom cloud-based infrastructure, already supporting a U.S. federal customer, has been deployed that meets rigorous NIST 800-53 security standards. Allyant has also built a talented local team of technology, production, security, and logistics partners—all dedicated to establishing the western regional facility as the industry’s flagship alternative format production hub.

“Our investment in Salt Lake City is more than an expansion—it’s a bold step toward the future of accessible communications,” said Mike Kilbane, Allyant’s Chief Operating Officer. “We’re proud to partner with the local Salt Lake City community and excited to support continued growth, innovation, and impact for the individuals and organizations we serve.”

Supporting its existing facilities in Ottawa, Ontario and Ogdensburg, New York, the expansive Salt Lake City facility enables Allyant to provide timely and cost-effective alternative format production, shipping, and support to customers across the U.S., particularly those in central and western regions. And strategically located less than 20 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport, the new facility is easily accessible for customers, employees, and partners from anywhere in the country.
