KBRA Assigns Preliminary Ratings to BRAVO Residential Funding Trust 2025-CES2 (BRAVO 2025-CES2)

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--KBRA assigns preliminary ratings to six classes of mortgage-backed notes from BRAVO Residential Funding Trust 2025-CES2 (BRAVO 2025-CES2), a $356.1 million RMBS transaction, sponsored by Loan Funding Structure LLC, an affiliate of PIMCO. BRAVO 2025-CES2 consists entirely of closed-end second lien mortgages (CES; 100.0%) and is seasoned approximately three months. The underlying pool comprises of 4,249 loans originated primarily by PennyMac Loan Services, LLC ( 40.8%), Rocket Mortgage, LLC (32.8%), and NewRez LLC (24.2%).

KBRA’s rating approach incorporated loan-level analysis of the mortgage pool through its Residential Asset Loss Model (REALM), an examination of the results from third-party loan file due diligence, cash flow modeling analysis of the transaction’s payment structure, reviews of key transaction parties and an assessment of the transaction’s legal structure and documentation.
