Bowman to continue driving Cart.com’s global marketing strategy and rapid revenue growth trajectory

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cart.com, the leading commerce solutions provider, today announced that Sam Bowman has been appointed Chief Marketing Officer. Based in Cincinnati, Bowman joined Cart.com in April 2024 through the company’s acquisition of Amify and most recently served as Senior Vice President and Head of Marketing.

“Sam has been a driving force behind some of Cart’s most visible and impactful marketing efforts over the past year,” said Omair Tariq, Founder and CEO of Cart.com. “He brings deep expertise, strategic thinking, and the kind of operational rigor that continuously moves the needle. As CMO, he’ll play a critical role in shaping how the market sees Cart.com and how we continue to scale aggressively.”

Since joining Cart.com, Bowman has led several high-impact initiatives including launching the company’s annual customer and partner summit, CartCon. Under his leadership, Bowman’s team also contributed to more than $85 million in awarded contracts in the first half of 2025—more than doubling Cart.com’s 2025 bookings plan. Prior to joining Cart.com, Bowman served as Senior Vice President of Marketing at Amify, where he built the company’s marketing motion from the ground up, ultimately tripling the company’s revenue and supporting a successful exit to Cart.com in early 2024.

“I’m incredibly proud to step into the CMO role at such a pivotal moment in Cart.com’s growth story,” said Bowman. “We have a powerful vision for commerce backed with best-in-class technology, logistics, and a relentless focus on helping brands win in an increasingly complex and competitive operating environment. I’m excited to build on our momentum and our mission to simplify commerce and logistics – for brands big and small.”
