Wire 3’s $100M Lake County Expansion Now Underway to Deliver 100% Fiber Internet

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Wire 3, a Florida-based, 100% fiber optic internet provider, announced today that construction is underway to connect thousands of residents and businesses to future-proof internet in four Lake County communities: Eustis, Leesburg, Mount Dora, and Tavares. Made possible through Wire 3’s $100 million investment, the first residential and commercial customers are expected to be connected as early as Winter of 2025. Once connected, customers will gain access to Wire 3’s high-speed service offerings and join Wire 3’s 10 Gig community.

With construction now active in more than 50 communities throughout Central Florida, Wire 3’s initial construction of Lake County will equip homes and businesses with access to Central Florida’s exclusive 100% fiber internet provider.

Residents and businesses interested in Wire 3’s symmetrical, high-speed internet may visit wire3.com to sign up for pre-sale and construction updates.

“With construction officially underway, our footprint in Eustis, Leesburg, Mount Dora and Tavares will serve as a testament to our commitment to deliver future-proof fiber internet throughout Central Florida communities,” said Jai Ramachandran, Wire 3 Chief Executive Officer. “Our goal remains the same: to deliver exceptional customer service, reliable technology and symmetrical speeds to every resident and business we serve. Lake County is no exception.”

As Wire 3’s first phase build of Lake County commences, Wire 3 will have further updates to share, including a second phase serve to additional Lake County communities. Residents in initial construction areas can expect to receive communication by mail, door hangers, and more, ahead of construction in the area. Wire 3 construction crews will be easily identified by branded vehicles and ID badges.

Wire 3’s position as Central Florida’s exclusive 100% fiber internet provider enables customers to seamlessly integrate cutting-edge technology with symmetrical speeds, free Wi-Fi equipment, and flexible no-contract plans – all designed and built by the local community, for the local community.

In addition to soon serving communities throughout Lake County, Wire 3’s service reaches other Florida communities that include Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach, Holly Hill, New Smyrna Beach, Port St. Lucie and many more.
