Brasher Law Firm Partner Earns 2025 Texas Legal Award

Nishi Kothari selected in ‘On the Rise’ category

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Brasher Law Firm, PLLC partner Nishi Kothari has been announced as a Texas Legal Award winner for 2025.

These awards are presented by Texas Lawyer, an ALM publication. Ms. Kothari is being acknowledged in the "On the Rise" category, which recognizes the state’s “most promising lawyers under the age of 40.” She is just one of 21 Texas-based attorneys who earned this recognition.

This award is the latest in an impressive list of 2025 accolades for Ms. Kothari, whose practice is focused on bad faith insurance claims, commercial litigation, and personal injury cases. Earlier this year, she was selected by her peers for inclusion on three "Best of 2025" lists from the prestigious legal publication Lawdragon: Lawdragon 500 X – The Next Generation, Lawdragon 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers, and Lawdragon 500 Leading Plaintiff Financial Lawyers. In addition, she recently began her official duties as president of the South Asian Bar Association of North America, an organization with 33 chapters across the U.S. and Canada and more than 12,000 members.

Ms. Kothari, who is certified in insurance law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, has also received past recognition for her work from other elite national legal guides, including The Best Lawyers in America and Texas Super Lawyers.
