BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Matt Middleton and Anil D. Aggarwal today announced the acquisition of a majority stake in ETF.com from ETFS Capital, which will retain a minority interest. Middleton will assume the role of CEO, spearheading ETF.com’s transformation into a vibrant multimedia platform focused on innovative events, high-impact networking, and engaging content that informs and connects investors, financial advisors, and industry professionals across the exchange-traded funds (ETF) space.

Matt Middleton is the founder and CEO of Future Proof, the world’s largest event brand focused on modernizing and advancing the wealth and investment management industry. Renowned for transforming how wealth management events are experienced, he also brings deep expertise in ETFs. His track record includes scaling Inside ETFs into a global franchise at Informa and launching Exchange ETF, which he sold after its successful inaugural edition as part of a private equity roll-up. Middleton will continue leading Future Proof while also driving the next chapter of ETF.com’s evolution.

Anil D. Aggarwal is widely recognized for founding and leading category-defining events as CEO—including the two largest US fintech events, Money20/20 and Fintech Meetup—generating over $500 million in enterprise value through multiple successful event exits over the past decade. His strategic insights and operational expertise will be instrumental in expanding ETF.com’s community-driven approach.
