Voyager Selects VISTA Team

In-space research and manufacturing: Imagined on Earth. Realized in space.

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Voyager Technologies, Inc. [NYSE: VOYG] selected their development team for the Voyager Institute for Space, Technology and Advancement, or VISTA, science park. VISTA is the nation’s first science park dedicated to in-space research and innovation at The Ohio State University.

Elford Developers is leading the pre-construction phase of the project while Colliers International is assisting in the international search for VISTA tenants as work begins on the first dedicated building. VISTA is building their campus on up-to-80 leased acres at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.

“VISTA is a powerful engine to take the space economy to the next level,” said Jeffrey Manber, president, International and Space Stations at Voyager. “VISTA allows industry, academia and governments to create a critical mass for in-space research and manufacturing, one that will serve the needs of the United States and our allies as we move into the era of commercial low-Earth orbit destinations and in-space resources.”

In partnership with The Ohio State University, VISTA will bring together the leading innovators for in-space services and research. VISTA currently has more than a dozen tenants and is signing new tenants across markets such as biopharma, Ag-tech, AI, semiconductors, robotics, biomedicine and other critical areas. From Fortune 500 companies and cutting-edge startups to researchers and federal agencies, VISTA will house the only U.S. ecosystem of space voyagers united by a common goal to drive innovation beyond Earth.

Formerly known as the George Washington Carver Science Park, VISTA continues to honor Carver’s legacy through a newly named G.W. Carver AgTech initiative, which will advance in-space breakthroughs in crop developments and planetary sustainability.
