ZIPS Car Wash Celebrates Upgraded Locations Across Georgia with Free Car Washes

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ZIPS Car Wash is celebrating its commitment to communities across Georgia with ribbon cutting ceremonies, free car washes, and free ZIPS swag next week as they unveil four renovated locations. In partnership with Folds of Honor, ZIPS will recognize four local military families each with a $500 academic scholarship at the chamber-partnered Ribbon Cutting events.

Tuesday, August 5^th

• 10:30am Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at ZIPS Car Wash, 125 Athens Hwy. in Loganville with the Walton County Chamber of Commerce
• 3pm Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at ZIPS Car Wash, 733 Joe Frank Harris Pkwy. in Cartersville with free Kona Ice from 2:30pm- 4:30pm
• Free Car Washes all day August 5^th at both locations

Wednesday, August 6^th

• 11am Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at ZIPS Car Wash, 4040 Winder Hwy. in Flowery Branch with the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce
• Free Car Washes all day August 6^th at this location

Thursday, August 7^th

• 10am Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at ZIPS Car Wash, 4747 Hwy. 80 in Savannah with the Greater Savannah Chamber of Commerce
• Free Car Washes all day August 7^th at this location

In 2024, ZIPS and its loyal customers donated over $92,000 to Folds of Honor to drive academic success for military and first responder families, and the brand believes it will reach a $100,000 donation in 2025.

ZIPS will recognize four local students and their families at the ceremonies this week, including:

• Emoni Simone Ford of Grayson is a Senior at Georgia State University majoring Fine Arts with a concentration in textiles.
• Kiyah Joi Wilson of Lawrenceville is a Junior at Kennesaw State University majoring in political science and journalism.
• Jeremiah Samir Wise & Josiah Simon Wise, brothers of Stockbridge will be recognized at the Cartersville event. Jeremiah is a Senior at Southern Crescent Technical College majoring in Internet Technology. After graduation he hopes to find a career in IT. Josiah is a Junior at Georgia State University majoring in accounting. After graduation, he hopes to become a real estate investor.
• Sophia Ruth Guthrie of Savannah is a Sophomore at Georgia Southern University majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She hopes to earn her master’s degree to become a Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist.
