NaphCare Appoints CFO Connie Young as New Company President

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Leading correctional healthcare company, NaphCare, Inc., today announced the appointment of Connie Young, former Chief Financial Officer, as the company’s new President. This key leadership transition is part of a broader operational restructuring aimed at positioning the company for continued growth and strengthening long-term stability.

In her new role as President, Young will oversee the management of Federal, State and Local Government business divisions, with a focus on integrating services and operations across all sectors.

“Connie’s transition into the role of President marks an exciting new chapter for NaphCare,” said Brad McLane, CEO of NaphCare. “With decades of proven leadership and a deep understanding of our mission and operations, she is uniquely positioned to help lead us through this transformative period of growth and innovation.”

Young assumes the role of President following more than three decades as NaphCare’s Chief Financial Officer, where she led financial and accounting operations across all business divisions. She brings a wealth of industry expertise and a proven ability to drive strategic performance and innovation. Throughout her tenure, she consistently achieved core business objectives as the company expanded into a nationwide organization, serving more than 456 local, state, and federal facilities across 49 states with a workforce of over 6,000 employees – all while remaining deeply committed to NaphCare’s mission to improve and save lives.

“It’s an honor to step into this new role,” said Connie Young, President of NaphCare. “Over the past 30-plus years, I’ve been fortunate to witness and contribute to the company’s evolution. As CFO, I saw firsthand how strategic growth can drive real impact, especially when guided by a strong moral compass. At NaphCare, that impact means expanding our ability to deliver patient-centered care. As President, I’m committed to ensuring that everyone – from our teams to the patients we serve – shares in our collective success.”

In 2024, NaphCare proudly celebrated its 35th anniversary, marking a significant milestone in the company’s history.
