The Manitowoc Company Achieves Level 2 CMMC Certification from the U.S. Department of Defense With a Perfect Score

MILWAUKEE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Manitowoc Company, Inc. (NYSE: MTW) announced today that its subsidiary Grove US LLC has received Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification, or CMMC, Level 2, with a perfect 110 score. Manitowoc is among a small percentage of companies currently compliant with the new, more rigorous CMMC rule that went into effect on December 16, 2024.

The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), developed by the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), is intended to strengthen the safeguarding of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) throughout the Defense Industrial Base (DIB).
