EverDriven Launches New Modern Student Transportation Awards to Spotlight School District Innovation, Equity, and Safety

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--EverDriven, the nation’s leader in Alternative Student Transportation, today announced the launch of the Modern Student Transportation Awards, a first-of-its-kind annual program celebrating school district leaders that demonstrate innovation and excellence as it pertains to student transportation.

The Modern Student Transportation Awards were created to recognize school district leaders that are setting new standards in student transportation by embracing modern tools, inclusive practices, and a commitment to accessibility. With student needs evolving and communities seeking more equitable solutions, the awards honor those who are leading the way with fresh thinking and real-world impact.

Nominations are open now through August 28, 2025. Submissions can be completed at https://info.everdriven.com/modern-student-transportation-awards and must include details about the nominee and their school district, their innovative initiative, and impact. Individuals may be nominated for more than one award category.

Each award will recognize an individual who exemplifies leadership in one of the following areas:

• Safety & Reliability Award
  Recognizes standout practices that enhance the safety and consistency of student transportation.
• Equity in Education Accessibility Award
  Honors district leaders that deliver scalable and inclusive transportation solutions for underserved student populations.
• Top Innovator Award
  Celebrates the most impactful use of modern, AI-enabled technology in school transportation.
• Humanitarian Award
  Highlights extraordinary care and compassion in ensuring every student gets to school safely and consistently.

A panel of expert judges from across the student transportation and education industries will evaluate the submissions based on category-specific criteria. Judges will be announced in the coming weeks. Finalists will be notified in early fall, and the winners will be formally announced at the Modern Student Transportation Awards Celebration in Dallas, TX on November 6, 2025.

Winners will receive a $2,500 college scholarship for students who qualify under the McKinney-Vento Act or for special education services. They will also be awarded a full conference pass and paid travel to the 2025 TSD Conference November 6 - 11, 2025. Each winner will be honored with a customized plaque and a digital winner’s seal for use across marketing materials and social media.
