TekStream to Highlight Whole-of-State Cybersecurity Framework at AWS Imagine 2025

Leading IT solutions provider to share industry-leading public-private partnership and its implications for the future of the industry

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TekStream, a cybersecurity and IT solutions leader, is bringing its Whole-of-State framework to AWS Imagine 2025, which will take place in Chicago from July 29 to 30, 2025. The company is also a sponsor of the event.

TekStream’s whole-of-state cybersecurity framework is a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy that unifies governance, risk management, and incident response under a single framework. Designed around a centralized security operations center (SOC) for coordinated oversight, it enables standardized threat detection, information sharing, and collaborative defense to protect critical infrastructure and data from evolving threats.

“The cybersecurity landscape is increasingly more complex and challenging to navigate,” says Judd Robins, Executive Vice President of Consulting Services at TekStream. “For government and public entities, agile, robust and affordable cybersecurity is critical. Our whole-of-state cybersecurity framework leverages the interconnectedness of public sector entities to enhance security through their cumulative state. As funding and resources become more limited, but cybersecurity needs grow, we’re excited to offer a viable solution for organizations looking to find a middle ground.”

In addition, TekStream has launched multiple successful student-powered security operations centers built on their whole-of-state cybersecurity framework. The first, launched in 2023, is in partnership with Louisiana State University (LSU), Splunk and AWS and serves 38 higher ed institutions in Louisiana. Sourcing talent from students across disciplines, the LSU student-SOC blends workforce development with a cost-deferment model, providing public sector organizations a sustainable, scalable cybersecurity program that also serves as a pipeline for new entry-level talent.

The program was so successful that TekStream, LSU, Splunk and AWS launched a second LSU-based student-powered SOC this spring that will serve third-party organizations looking for quality, affordable cybersecurity. This June, TekStream also launched a new student-powered SOC in partnership with the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT).

Hosted by Amazon, AWS Imagine brings together leaders from education and government to explore AI, cloud and tech stack modernization in practical, mission-driven ways. During the two-day event, participants will have the opportunity to engage with multiple tracks, access experts, network with peers and explore hands-on demos. TekStream will also be onsite at Splunk’s .conf conference in September.
