ONDA Family Law Grows Dallas Office with Addition of Attorney Alex Adewunmi

Rising star attorney brings litigation power, academic leadership to the firm

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Orsinger, Nelson, Downing & Anderson, LLP (ONDA), one of Texas’ largest family law firms, is pleased to announce the addition of Alex Adewunmi, a family law specialist who currently serves as an adjunct professor at UNT Dallas College of Law.

Mr. Adewunmi’s legal expertise includes a wide range of family law matters involving property division, child custody and support, qualified domestic relations orders and restricted appeals. He is also adept at handling complex civil litigation matters such as contracts, employment disputes and construction defects.

Mr. Adewunmi is a former law clerk for the 101st and 193rd Civil District Courts and served as a pupil of the Barbara M.G. Lynn Inn of Court during law school, where he engaged in professional development through mentorship and continuing legal education. He has been named a Texas Super Lawyers Rising Star every year since 2023, an honor awarded to no more than 2.5% of attorneys in the state for professional achievement and peer recognition.

A former student-athlete at Texas Christian University, he earned notable awards during his time as a student at UNT Dallas College of Law, including recognition from the American Bar Association and American Association for Justice for his leadership as president of the college’s Board of Advocates. He participated in mock trial competitions and earned Best Advocate and was a finalist in the 2018 National Employment & Labor Law Mock Trial Competition.
