NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Seward & Kissel LLP announced today that Jacob Comer has joined as partner in the Firm’s Investment Management practice specializing in venture capital formation and transactions.

Comer has extensive experience leading fund formation, cross-border fundraising, and complex deal structuring. He has a background as both a legal and investment executive overseeing regulatory strategy, fund launches, and high-stakes transactions.

“Jacob’s arrival marks an exciting moment of growth in our preeminent Investment Management offering,” said James Cofer, managing partner of Seward & Kissel. “His joining allows Seward & Kissel to formalize and grow our venture capital group.”

“Jacob’s addition to the Firm reflects our continued commitment to serving the evolving needs of the industry,” said Gary Anderson, partner in the Business Transactions Group and member of Seward & Kissel’s Management Committee. “His unique blend of legal acumen and executive experience in venture capital and fund formation will be a tremendous asset to our clients navigating complex transactions and emerging investment strategies.”
