ExtraHop® Expands its Global Footprint in Singapore

Builds on year of significant customer growth and global recognition

SINGAPORE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ExtraHop®, a leader in modern network detection and response (NDR), today announced it is expanding its global footprint in Singapore to facilitate the growing adoption of its NDR platform in the Asia Pacific region.

Last year, ExtraHop significantly grew its Asia Pacific presence, increasing revenue by 62% year-over-year, and was recognized with the Best in Cloud Security award at the CybersecAsia Readers’ Choice Awards. This growth was largely driven by the addition of enterprise customers in highly regulated industries such as banking, public sector, and critical infrastructure.

To help Asia Pacific enterprises meet stringent compliance needs, including those mandated by the Singapore Cybersecurity Act, and ensure data sovereignty by keeping sensitive data within national borders, ExtraHop is expanding its network in Singapore. This strategic location, home to many global enterprises and financial institutions, will provide a crucial local point of presence (PoP) for customers’ ExtraHop data, while also significantly accelerating threat detection and response capabilities.

“ExtraHop has established itself as the preferred NDR provider in the Asia Pacific enterprise market by delivering unparalleled network visibility and context,” said Ken Chen, Vice President, Asia Pacific & Japan, ExtraHop. “Our continued expansion across APAC is a strategic move to provide our customers with a distinct advantage in meeting evolving compliance demands and ensuring they have the absolute fastest pathway to detecting and neutralizing advanced threats right here in the region.”

ExtraHop unifies NDR, network performance management (NPM), intrusion detection (IDS), and forensics in a single, integrated platform to give enterprises complete visibility and highly contextual insights into their entire hybrid infrastructure. As the threat landscape grows increasingly sophisticated, this comprehensive approach delivers faster threat detection and response, enhances productivity, and reduces operational complexity.

“Today’s threats cut across all seven layers of the OSI model, making early detection critical before damage at the application layer can take place,” said the Managing Director, Head of the technical information security office for a major banking customer in Singapore. “The ExtraHop NDR platform, powered by its cloud-first strategy, makes this possible, giving network and security teams the capability to quickly identify threats hiding in the East-West corridor – finding the needle in the haystack sooner rather than later.”

“Cybersecurity and digital resilience need to be the cornerstone of any organization’s business strategy,” said Foo Siang Tse, Senior Partner, Cyber, NCS. “ExtraHop’s offerings have helped our clients with network visibility and deep investigation capabilities that are required to rapidly detect and respond to threats. ExtraHop’s continued investment in Singapore is representative of our shared commitment to regional growth. We look forward to deepening our partnership to empower even more customers to secure their businesses.”

ExtraHop has been recognized by analyst firms globally, having been named a Leader in the inaugural Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Network Detection and Response, as well as the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Network Detection and Response 2024 Vendor Assessment and The Forrester Wave™: Network Analysis And Visibility, Q2 2023.
