Dee Dee Sklar Joins Bayview Asset Management as Senior Advisor for the Insurance Asset Management Business

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Bayview Asset Management (“Bayview”), a leading investment management firm with a 30-year history investing across asset-based credit markets, today announced that Dee Dee Sklar has joined the company as a Senior Advisor in its Insurance Asset Management business. Sklar brings an extensive track record of leadership in fund finance, structured products, and alternative investments, further strengthening Bayview’s position as a leader in the rapidly growing Asset-Based Finance (ABF) market.

Sklar joins Bayview following a distinguished career in fund finance and alternative investments. She retired as Vice Chair, Fund Finance at Wells Fargo and was the prior Global Head, where she led the Fund Finance business for nearly a decade. As a pioneer in the field with experience rooted in three global financial institutions, she has been a trusted advisor to private equity firms, portfolio companies, and asset managers.

Currently, Sklar serves as Global Co-Chair of Women in Fund Finance and is actively involved in the Fund Finance Association’s business development initiatives. She is also a Board Member of Nuveen Churchill Private Capital Income Fund (PCAP) and a Senior Advisor to Coller Capital. Previously, she served on the Business Advisory Board of Atalaya Capital Management (acquired by Blue Owl Capital) and on the Supervisory Board of 17Capital (acquired by Oaktree Capital).
