Pallas Textiles Sets a New Sustainability Benchmark with Launch of Reve Collection, Featuring Biodegradable Vinyl

GREEN BAY, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Pallas Textiles proudly unveils Reve—a collection where design dreams take shape, and sustainability meets sophistication. Crafted entirely with Hyphyn™—the industry’s first biodegradable performance vinyl—Reve redefines what’s possible in contract textiles. This innovative material doesn’t just perform; it transforms, breaking down into inert, natural components with no microplastics and no toxins.

“Reve brings to life a vision where sustainability and refined design are not opposing forces, but partners in creation,” Dean Lindsley, vice president, Pallas Textiles.

Merging nature’s quiet rhythm with breakthrough material innovation, the Reve Collection invites designers into a new era of beautiful, biodegradable design. Engineered with a patented enzyme system, Hyphyn vinyl is verified to biodegrade by over 90 percent within 24 months in anaerobic landfill conditions.

Yet, for Pallas, performance alone isn’t the story.

“With Reve, we envisioned a collection where elegance and environmental consciousness could exist in quiet harmony,” Géraldine Blanchot Fortier, designer of the collection, said. “It’s a material expression of a dream—shaped by care, curiosity, and a deep respect for the natural world.”

Each of the seven patterns in the Reve Collection are inspired by elemental forces—sun, wind, water, and earth. Rather than relying on literal motifs, the designs express these influences as textures, moods, and movement. From the radiant flow of Solstice to the layered terrain of Vale, Reve captures nature’s quiet rhythm—ephemeral yet enduring.

“Reve brings to life a vision where sustainability and refined design are not opposing forces, but partners in creation,” said Dean Lindsley, vice president, Pallas Textiles. “It’s about weaving purpose into beauty—and letting that intention guide every step of the process.”

Thoughtfully designed for healthcare, workplace, education, and hospitality environments, Reve speaks to designers and clients seeking not just high performance but high purpose. Its palette of mineral tones and earth-washed neutrals brings timeless warmth to contemporary interiors, while its biodegradable construction answers the growing demand for conscious materials.

The Reve Collection will be available beginning May 30, 2025, and makes its formal debut at NeoCon in Showroom #1181 at The Mart in Chicago, June 9–11.
