EPIC Names Karen Beldy Torborg President of Northeast Region

Under the new leadership the firm aims to continue its organic growth and market expansion in the Northeast region

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants (“EPIC”), a leading provider of risk management, insurance brokerage, and employee benefits consulting, has announced the appointment of Karen Beldy Torborg as President, Northeast Region. The appointment underscores EPIC’s commitment to expanding its capabilities and delivering specialized solutions to clients.

In her role, Torborg will lead EPIC’s Northeast Region, succeeding Len Scioscia, who transitions to the role of Chairman of the Northeast Region. Her areas of focus include organic growth, market expansion, specialization orientation, leadership development, and maintaining EPIC’s unwavering commitment to client excellence. Scioscia will support Torborg’s transition into her leadership role as well as various corporate projects.

Torborg brings more than 30 years of experience in client advisory, practice leadership, and strategic growth within the insurance brokerage and consulting industry. Prior to joining EPIC, she held multiple senior leadership roles at Marsh, including serving as Global Head of its Private Equity and M&A Services and Infrastructure businesses. Most recently, she served as Head of Strategic Growth and Portfolio Management (CRB) North America at WTW.
