Metronet Expands to Prescott Valley, Growing Its Arizona Network

Fastest Major ISP in the Country Invests $18.5 Million in Third Arizona Community

EVANSVILLE, Ind.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Metronet, named “Fastest Major ISP in the Country” by PCMag, announced today that it will bring its 100% fiber-optic internet to Prescott Valley, Ariz. The project, made possible through a privately funded $18.5 million investment from Metronet, marks the company's third community in Arizona. Once complete, residents will have access to internet speeds of up to five gigabits per second, while businesses can receive speeds of up to ten gigabits per second.

Prescott Valley Mayor Kell Palguta said, “We are committed to helping our community thrive by bringing innovative companies and advanced technology — and that includes providing high-quality internet and increased competition. As we continue to work with Metronet, we look forward to supporting their plans to bring multigigabit service to our city.”

Construction is expected to begin this summer, with the first residents and businesses receiving service before fall. Those interested in construction updates or pre-sale opportunities can visit metronet.com/az/prescott-valley.

Metronet is actively expanding its fiber-optic network across Arizona, with construction already underway in Casa Grande and Glendale and almost $100 million committed to the state thus far.

“As we bring our ultrafast fiber-optic internet to Prescott Valley, we’re proud to reach another milestone in our Arizona expansion,” said Jill Cordes, vice president of new market development at Metronet. “We’re working closely with town leadership to deliver the advanced technology that will power Prescott Valley’s continued growth and connectivity.”

As construction progresses, residents will notice Metronet teams working in the area. The company will provide advance notifications through mailed letters, yard signs, and other communications at least 30 days before work begins. Metronet’s crews will be easily identifiable by company-branded vehicles and ID badges.

Metronet’s 100% fiber-optic network offers symmetrical upload and download speeds, ensuring a seamless experience for streaming, remote work, online learning, video conferencing, and more.

Career opportunities will be available across Arizona. Those interested in joining the Metronet team can learn more and apply at metronet.com/careers.
