H2O.ai Achieves FedRAMP® "In Process" Designation at High Impact Level, Advancing Secure and Sovereign AI for Federal Agencies

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--H2O.ai, the open source leader in Generative AI and the most accurate predictive AI platform, today announced that its H2O AI Cloud has achieved the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP®) “In Process” designation at the High Impact Level. This designation is now listed on the FedRAMP Marketplace and is sponsored by a U.S. federal agency.

This milestone marks a significant step toward enabling sovereign AI in the U.S. public sector—and demonstrates H2O.ai’s deep commitment to delivering secure, enterprise-grade AI that meets the government’s most stringent [cloud] security requirements. With FedRAMP "In Process" status at the High level, H2O.ai is on track to support the U.S. federal government’s most sensitive, unclassified workloads, including those that involve personal data, law enforcement, and health information.

FedRAMP is a U.S. government-wide program that provides a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services. The High Impact Level is designed for systems where the loss of confidentiality, integrity, or availability could have a severe or catastrophic adverse effect on operations, assets, or individuals.

“Achieving FedRAMP ‘In Process’ status at the High Impact Level is more than a compliance milestone, it reflects our deep commitment to building Sovereign AI that federal agencies can trust, control, and scale on their own terms,” said Sri Ambati, Founder and CEO of H2O.ai. “At H2O.ai, we’re proud to partner with public sector leaders to deliver secure, responsible AI—upskilling their teams, protecting their data, and accelerating mission impact with the best of open source, predictive, and generative AI.”

The H2O AI Cloud enables agencies to develop, deploy, and manage AI and machine learning models at scale—while ensuring security, transparency, and compliance in highly regulated environments. Use cases range from fraud detection and cybersecurity to predictive analytics, resource optimization, and generative AI applications.

H2O.ai was also recently named to the AWS Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Competency and Marketplace Program (ICMP) for the U.S. Federal Government, recognizing its ability to support government agencies with secure, mission-ready AI solutions on AWS GovCloud (US).
