American Water Military Services Group Recognized by Florida Department of Environmental Protection with 2024 Wastewater Plant Operations Excellence Award

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--American Water (NYSE: AWK), the largest regulated water and wastewater utility company in the U.S., and American Water Military Services Group, announced today it was awarded the 2024 Wastewater Plant Operations Excellence Award at Naval Station (NS) Mayport, Fla. by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). This recognition was based on overall treatment plant operation, maintenance, and compliance.
