Carpentersville to Gain High-Speed Fiber-Optic Internet with Metronet Expansion

Fastest Major ISP in the Nation Adding More Illinois Towns

EVANSVILLE, Ind.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Metronet, recognized by PCMag as one of the nation’s “Fastest Major ISPs” for two consecutive years, is bringing its 100% fiber-optic internet to Carpentersville, Ill. This privately funded, multimillion-dollar project will provide residents and businesses with high-speed, reliable internet, delivering symmetrical speeds of up to five gigabits per second for homes and up to ten gigabits per second for businesses.

As construction progresses, residents will notice Metronet teams working in the area. The company will provide advance notifications through mailed letters, yard signs, and other communications at least 30 days before work begins.
