FMG Leading Welcomes Back Will Busch, III as President

Experienced growth leader rejoins human capital advisory firm to guide value creation efforts throughout the healthcare ecosystem.

CARLSBAD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--FMG Leading—a human capital advisory firm that partners with healthcare leaders and investors on a mission to make the healthcare system work, better—has announced the return of Will Busch, III who rejoins the firm as President, effective March 31. In this new role, he will lead FMG Leading’s growth and transformation efforts, positioning the firm to further expand its client reach.

Mr. Busch’s return to FMG Leading comes at a time when the healthcare industry requires enhanced human capital advisory expertise to navigate the often-overlooked people-centric issues inherent in disruptive transformations, AI adoptions, and other priority initiatives. Unaddressed, these issues create substantial risk, making it more challenging for organizations to achieve the transformation required to remain competitive far into the future.

“Today’s healthcare leaders must heighten their focus on human capital to stay ahead of evolving, disruptive market forces,” said Dr. Matt Brubaker, Chairman and CEO of FMG Leading. “With Will in the President’s seat, our team will be able to help even more organizations synchronize their talent and strategy, generating clinical, financial, and operational improvements that will, in turn, drive positive impacts across the healthcare system.”

Mr. Busch first joined FMG Leading in 2020 after holding consulting leadership positions at large professional services firms, including Gallup and Korn Ferry. He departed in 2022 to assume the role of Managing Director, Head of Transformation at the private equity firm Tilia Holdings, where he helped the firm identify, acquire, and scale portfolio companies operating at the intersection of food and health. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Tennessee State University and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

“I am proud to return to FMG Leading, a world-class advisory firm with an impressive track record in the healthcare ecosystem,” said Mr. Busch. “We have a unique opportunity to collaborate with human capital focused providers, payers, and investors to drive meaningful outcomes for patients within the evolving healthcare environment. I am honored to help advance this important work alongside our colleagues and clients.”
