Petra Funds Group Appoints Chief Financial Officer

Seasoned private equity CFO John Beczak brings extensive experience to help drive next phase of growth

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Petra Funds Group (“Petra”), a leading independent private funds administrator, today announced the appointment of John Beczak as the firm’s Chief Financial Officer, further expanding Petra’s leadership bench of executives with experience at leading private markets firms.

John brings more than 20 years of experience in private equity finance to Petra. He most recently served as CFO at Resource Capital Funds, where he oversaw all fund financial, accounting, reporting and operational functions for the global alternative investment firm. Prior to Resource Capital Funds, he held a number of senior finance roles including Fund CFO for multiple strategies in the Global Market Strategies segment at private equity firm Carlyle, and finance, operations and accounting roles at The Olayan Group, Lehman Brothers and Credit Suisse.
