Kalahari Resorts & Conventions Named One of America’s Best Midsize Employers 2025 by Forbes

Award highlights Kalahari’s commitment to workplace excellence and employee satisfaction

WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kalahari Resorts & Conventions has been named one of America’s Best Midsize Employers 2025 by Forbes, in collaboration with Statista, a world leader in industry rankings and statistical analysis. The annual list, announced on February 12, 2025, recognizes companies that excel in employee satisfaction and workplace culture.

Forbes and Statista compiled the rankings through an independent survey of more than 217,000 U.S. employees working for companies with at least 1,000 employees. Over 6.5 million employer evaluations were analyzed, with personal recommendations from employees carrying the most weight.

“We are honored to receive this recognition and are deeply proud of the incredible team we have built at Kalahari,” said Todd Nelson, CEO, owner, and founder of Kalahari Resorts & Conventions. “Our employees are at the heart of everything we do, and this award reflects our ongoing dedication to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, supported, and empowered. We believe that when our employees thrive, our company thrives, and this recognition is a testament to that philosophy.”

Kalahari Resorts has always been committed to fostering a workplace that nurtures talent, celebrates diversity, and encourages innovation. This recognition reinforces that Kalahari is poised to continue leading the industry in employee satisfaction, setting a new standard for workplace excellence.

“On behalf of everyone at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions, we are incredibly proud to be named among Forbes’ ‘America’s Best Midsize Employers 2025,’” said Traci Jones, VP of Human Resources at Kalahari. “This recognition highlights the hard work and dedication of our team, who are the driving force behind our success. We’re committed to continuing to prioritize our employees and set new standards for workplace excellence in the years to come.”

This honor comes at an exciting time for Kalahari Resorts & Conventions, as the company continues to expand and enhance its offerings. Recent developments include a $85 million, 75,000-square-foot expansion of the indoor waterpark in Wisconsin Dells, as well as the grand opening of the brand’s fifth resort in Virginia, both set to open in fall 2026. These innovations reflect Kalahari’s ongoing mission to deliver exceptional experiences for guests and employees alike.
