Alan Chhabra Joins Cerebras as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Partnerships

Former MongoDB Executive to Lead and Scale Cerebras’ Global Partner Network

SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cerebras Systems, the pioneer in accelerating generative AI, today announced the appointment of Alan Chhabra as EVP of Worldwide Partnerships. In this role, Chhabra will lead Cerebras’ global partner ecosystem, expand and strengthen strategic relationships across industries, and drive adoption of Cerebras’ groundbreaking AI technology.

Chhabra brings more than two decades of experience in strategic partnerships, sales, and business development across the tech industry, having most recently served as EVP of Worldwide Partners at MongoDB. At MongoDB, Chhabra was instrumental in building and scaling the company's global partner network, contributing significantly to one of the most successful tech IPOs of this century.

Under Chhabra’s leadership, MongoDB’s partner ecosystem grew exponentially, with partners now responsible for sourcing and influencing over 80% of the company’s new business. Over his 10-year tenure, Chhabra was tapped to lead MongoDB’s direct sales teams across the U.S. Public Sector, APAC, and ISVs, further strengthening the company’s global reach.

Before joining MongoDB in 2015, Chhabra held leadership roles at BMC Software, where he was responsible for Worldwide Cloud & Data Center Automation Sales. He led a $200 million annual revenue business unit, serving over 1,000 enterprise customers. Chhabra’s career also includes senior roles at cloud services pioneer Egenera, Ernst & Young Consulting, and the Charles Stark Draper Laboratory.
