Jason Fair Named Managing Partner of Robins Kaplan California Offices

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--National trial law firm Robins Kaplan LLP announced today that Jason Fair has been named Managing Partner of the firm’s Los Angeles and Silicon Valley offices. He succeeds Michael Geibelson, who has held the position since 2015. Mr. Geibelson will continue to play a key role in the firm’s leadership and focus on servicing clients and handling high-exposure trial work.

As Mr. Fair steps into this role, the firm is well-positioned to build on the achievements of Mr. Geibelson’s tenure. With nearly a decade of experience at Robins Kaplan, Mr. Fair brings a deep understanding of the firm’s culture and strategic goals, making him well-suited to lead the firm forward. Mr. Fair previously served as Deputy Managing Partner of the Los Angeles office and currently co-chairs the firm’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.

“It’s been an honor to lead the California offices for the past decade, and I have every confidence that Jason will continue to guide the offices to new heights,” said Mr. Geibelson. “His commitment to excellence, client service, and inclusive leadership make him a natural fit to lead our team into the future.”

This year also marks the 30th anniversary of Robins Kaplan’s Los Angeles office, underscoring the firm’s strong and growing presence in California.

“As we celebrate 30 years of great success in California, Jason’s leadership will be significant in driving our continued success,” said Anthony Froio, Chair of the Executive Board and Managing Partner at Robins Kaplan. “Michael’s leadership has been instrumental in developing talent and positioning the firm for long-term success. Under Jason’s leadership, we are excited about the future and ongoing growth and strength of our California offices.”

Mr. Fair counsels clients on business disputes and represents them in all forms of dispute resolution, with a focus on high-value matters in construction, real estate, corporate removals, appraisals, and buyouts. Mr. Fair is also committed to pro bono work, partnering with organizations to protect the rights of vulnerable children. He was recently honored with Profiles in Diversity Journal’s 2024 Latino Leadership Award for his commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion.
