HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Four partners with Hicks Thomas LLP have been named to the 2025 Lawdragon 500 Leading Environmental Lawyers – The Green 500, a guide to the top environmental lawyers in the United States.

Partners John B. Thomas, John Deis, Courtney Ervin and Eric Grant were recognized for their work in environmental litigation.

Mr. Deis is a veteran litigator whose work includes claims under the Clean Water Act, Resources Conservation and Recovery Act, Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act, the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System program and the Texas Solid Waste Disposal Act. In his third year on the Green 500 list, Mr. Deis also has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America, Benchmark Litigation and Texas Super Lawyers.

Ms. Ervin’s expertise is high-stakes commercial litigation. Her work includes cases involving environmental issues, energy, oil and gas, insurance, construction, real estate, information technology and health care.
