DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DirectDefense, a leading information security services company, today announced that David Doyle has joined the company to lead and scale its vCISO services. Doyle brings more than 30 years of experience establishing, scaling, assessing, and advising on cybersecurity and privacy programs. He has held corporate leadership positions at companies such as Apple, TikTok, Kaiser Permanente, Hawaiian Airlines, and Constellation Energy, as well as thought leadership roles at ASIS International, ISACA, and the Institute for Applied Network Security. Bringing David on board underscores our commitment to delivering innovative services to our clients and marks a significant step forward in delivering scalable and impactful security programs that drive measurable results.”

Most recently, Doyle was a global privacy leader at TikTok and, prior to that, he served as a Business Information Security Officer with Kaiser Permanente and Apple. He has also served as the CISO for Hawaiian Airlines and Council Chairman at ASIS International. With a proven track record in security and privacy, Doyle brings unmatched expertise in building and scaling security operations. His extensive experience as a security leader coupled with his knowledge of compliance, governance and security programs will be instrumental in creating vCISO services aligned with customer needs.

I look forward to helping clients adopt advanced security practices, implement risk mitigation strategies, and align their cybersecurity initiatives with overall business strategies to enhance resilience and efficiency.”

At DirectDefense, Doyle will leverage his extensive experience to design and implement scalable and repeatable delivery models for the company’s vCISO services. His responsibilities will encompass designing and executing robust security strategies tailored to client needs, conducting comprehensive risk assessments, and guiding organizations through the complex landscape of regulatory compliance.
