Securonix Appoints Bethany Mayer to Its Board of Directors

Mayer brings over three decades of technology leadership to support leading cybersecurity platform’s growth

PLANO, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Securonix, Inc., a five-time Gartner Magic Quadrant Cybersecurity Leader in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and a Customers’ Choice in the 2024 Gartner Peer Insights ‘Voice of the Customer’ for SIEM, today announced it has added Bethany Mayer to its board of directors. Mayer is a seasoned public company executive, CEO and board member with over 30 years of experience in general management, marketing, product development and operations across the technology and software business landscape.

Most recently, Mayer served as President and CEO of Ixia, which was a publicly traded global company and a market leader in test, visibility and security solutions. Under her leadership, Ixia saw immense growth that led to its successful sale to Keysight Technologies, Inc. in 2017. Prior to Ixia, Mayer held leadership roles at HP, Blue Coat Systems, Cisco and Apple. Currently, she serves as the Chair of the Board for Box and sits on the boards of Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Astera Labs, LAM Research, Celestial AI and Mainspring Energy.
