Volunteering and Supporting Community Organizations Highlight a Year of Impact for Corvias

Giving Back Activities Emphasize Support for Military Families and Veterans

WARWICK, R.I.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Generously giving back to the communities where it operates is a core principle of Corvias. Looking back at 2024, standout moments included employee volunteering, an impactful donation-matching program, and Corvias’ commitment to funding scholarships. The year closed with approximately 575 volunteer hours and nearly $140,000 in donations.

Volunteering
Using VTIME, a Corvias benefit that provides each team member with time to volunteer during the workday, employees individually volunteered nearly 375 hours in 2024. They also came together to volunteer as a team, accounting for an additional 200 hours.

Volunteering examples included rehabilitating wildlife in Texas, fundraising for AED equipment in Kansas, and supporting agricultural education in Oklahoma. These efforts stand in stark contrast to a national trend of the lowest rate of formal volunteering in nearly three decades in the U.S., according to the U.S. Census Bureau and Americorps.

Matching Donations
The Corvias donation-match program multiplies employee donations to the non-profit organizations of their choosing. In 2024, Corvias received more than 140 donation-match requests from employees. This resulted in more than $103,000 in donations, with nearly $60,000 from employees.

Financial Support
Corvias also contributed an estimated $36,000 in cash and in-kind donations to local organizations. Recipient organizations are near the military installations and higher education campuses where Corvias operates, as well as its Rhode Island headquarters:

Scholarships
To help military families achieve their educational dreams, Corvias Foundation partnered with the National Military Family Association and the Army Scholarship Foundation to fund scholarships for military spouses and children. In addition to scholarships for military families, the Foundation also awards $50,000 in scholarships to children of Corvias employees annually.
