Hayden AI Honored as GovTech 100 Company for Fifth Consecutive Year

The company’s vision AI platform improves safety and reliability for transit riders

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hayden AI, the US market leader in automated bus lanes, bus stops, bike lanes and double parking enforcement, has been awarded as a GovTech 100 company for 2025. This marks the fifth consecutive year that Hayden AI has been selected as one of the most innovative companies in the government technology sector.

The announcement comes as Hayden AI concludes a year of substantial growth with expanded technology deployment across the United States and internationally. The company's innovative automated transit zone enforcement platform gained adoption in several major cities, significantly improving public transit safety and performance.

"We're honored to be recognized by GovTech once again as our technology continues to drive positive change for transit agencies and their riders," said Charles Territo, Chief Growth Officer at Hayden AI. “Our mission is to use technology to help transit agencies improve safety and bus reliability, growing ridership and reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the process.”

The GovTech 100 is an annual list of 100 companies “focused on, making a difference in, and selling to state and local government agencies across the United States,” according to Government Technology, which compiles and publishes the list.

Throughout 2024, Hayden AI's technology was implemented in new cities across the globe, with notable growth in California. In November, Los Angeles Metro launched automated bus lane and bus stop enforcement with Hayden AI technology. In August, AC Transit in the East Bay region of San Francisco expanded its bus lane enforcement program and implemented bus stop enforcement using Hayden AI's technology.

Internationally, Hayden AI's presence grew significantly. The company partnered with the City of Tallinn, Estonia, and ZTM Gdańsk in Poland for automated bus lane and bus stop enforcement pilots. Hayden AI also won the Barcelona Innova Lab Mobility competition, securing a pilot in the major Spanish city. The company also received the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT)’s AI Transatlantic Award, recognizing the impact of automated transit zone enforcement on road safety, transit reliability, and greenhouse gas emissions.

In addition to these European awards, Hayden AI was named by TIME Magazine as one of America’s Top GreenTech Companies of 2024. The ranking lists the top 250 U.S. companies focused on sustainability with products or services that positively impact the environment.
