Trellix Welcomes New CEO to Lead Next Phase of Growth

Industry veteran to lead Trellix and Skyhigh Security to drive their long-term visions as leaders in their respective spaces within the cybersecurity market

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Trellix, the company delivering one of cybersecurity’s broadest AI-powered platforms, today announced Vishal Rao has been appointed to succeed Bryan Palma as the company’s next CEO.

Rao joins Trellix from STG portfolio company Skyhigh Security, and will lead both Trellix and Skyhigh Security with a focus on accelerating the companies' market share globally. He brings a track record leading software companies through multidimensional transformation resulting in material growth milestones and successful IPOs. This background spans almost three decades of experience with market leading security, cloud, and software-as-a-service companies including Splunk, Cloudera, and Snow Software.
