Revealing the EA SPORTS FC™ Team of the Year: Celebrating the Best of 2024

Fans from around the globe have cast their votes to help create the ultimate lineup of elite men’s and women’s football players.

Among those selected include: Jude Bellingham, Virgil van Dijk, Cole Palmer, Aitana Bonmatí, Lauren James and Sophia Smith, all who made this year's EA SPORTS FC Team of The Year.

REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, Electronic Arts, Inc. (NASDAQ: EA) announced the twenty-two elite players who earned a spot in the prestigious men’s and women’s Team of the Year (TOTY) Final XI. As one of the few awards in global football where fans can vote, TOTY provides supporters a chance to shape the final roster and honour the world’s most elite football stars.

Attackers are available in EA SPORTS FC™ 25 from tomorrow, followed by midfielders on Jan. 19 and defenders/goalkeepers on Jan. 21. The full TOTY rosters will be added to the Football Ultimate Team pool of items accessible from Jan. 23 through Jan. 31, with honourable mention and 12^th man and woman dropping on Jan. 24.

For EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile players, the Men’s TOTY roster will be available in-game starting on Jan. 21, coinciding with the start of an in-game event that will feature three TOTY Chapters, special TOTY ICONs, and a dedicated TOTY Star Pass. The EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile TOTY in-game event will continue with weekly updates leading into UTOTY mid-February, with ATT launching Feb. 13, MID on Feb. 15, and DEF on Feb. 17, with the event ending on March 6.
