Stephens Public Finance Expands Texas Team With Hiring of Stan Osborne

Former School District CFO Reinforces Stephens Long Term Commitment to Texas Public Finance

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Stephens Inc. today announced Stan Osborne has joined as a Vice President for Public Finance in the firm’s Houston office. Mr. Osborne brings more than 20 years of school finance experience, most recently in Texas. His diverse background includes military service and as a political representative, providing a holistic perspective to this role. Mr. Osborne is the latest addition to the team of Texas educational specialists within Stephens who support K-12 and higher education financings. Stephens has served this region for more than 25 years underwriting critical projects in education, municipal government, and infrastructure.

Mr. Osborne has been a CFO and Controller in the Texas school system for more than 12 years in Houston, San Antonio, and other districts. In those roles, his responsibilities included bond issuance, the debt program, investment officer, direct supervisor of facility maintenance and construction, and real estate purchases and sales. He served in similar capacities in New Mexico and Alaska leveraging his considerable skills and expertise to education finance. Mr. Osborne started his career as an Air Force officer in Abilene, Texas. He earned a MA from the University of Alaska and is a graduate of the University of Nebraska.
