NORFOLK, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hunt Military Communities (HMC), the nation’s largest provider of military housing, announced today that it has acquired full ownership of Homeport Hampton Roads, a high-performing privatized housing development supporting unaccompanied Navy personnel.

Located in Norfolk and Newport News, Virginia, Homeport Hampton Roads is a $336 million project comprising 1,846 fully furnished units, accommodating 3,682 beds. The development features a mix of apartments, recreational amenities, and a 31,000-square-foot community center, providing Navy personnel with a market-standard, pedestrian-friendly urban village with amenities such as fitness centers, pools, and community spaces.

This acquisition continues HMC’s mission to deliver exceptional housing and support services to military members nationwide. In 2024, HMC completed the acquisition of Atlantic Marine Corps Communities, further expanding its footprint and reinforcing its commitment to providing best-in-class living experiences for service members and their families.

HMC employs cutting-edge technology, processes, and systems to improve operations, ensuring military partners and residents receive the highest value and service. The company emphasizes creating communities that foster an environment of comfort, convenience, and community for service members.
