Veteran-Owned Mischler Financial Group Welcomes Former J.P. Morgan Executive as Managing Director, Capital Markets

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. & STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mischler Financial Group, Inc. (“Mischler”), the nation’s oldest diversity-certified investment bank owned and operated by service-disabled veterans, proudly announces the appointment of Andrew Cherna as Managing Director, Capital Markets.

In his new role, Mr. Cherna will report to Rob Karr, Head of Capital Markets, and will lead initiatives to deepen relationships with issuers and investors while expanding Mischler’s capabilities in the capital markets sector.

Andrew Cherna brings more than three decades of financial industry experience. Most recently, he served as Head of Investor Relations at Solar Mosaic. Prior to that, he spent 24 years at J.P. Morgan Securities, LLC, where he held key leadership roles, including Global Head of Structured Product Syndicate and Vice Chairman of the Structured Product Underwriting and Risk Committee. Mr. Cherna holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, a BA from Middlebury College, and is a CFA Charterholder.
