Gary Keller Named No. 4 Most Influential Leader in Real Estate

2025 Swanepoel Power 200 ranks the most influential leaders in residential real estate

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Gary Keller, Executive Chairman and co-founder of Keller Williams Realty, Inc. (KW), the world’s largest real estate franchise by agent count, was ranked in the Swanepoel Power 200 (SP 200) as the No. 4 most influential person in real estate for 2025.

“The list that matters most is the short one that every client has in their head of who their real estate agent of choice is,” said Keller. “We are always proud to be recognized, but the accolades rest squarely with our affiliated agents and market center owners who wake up daily with servant hearts and deep passion for our industry.”

In total, ten KW-affiliated franchise leaders ranked on the SP 200 for 2025. According to Swanepoel, Keller is the only leader named one of the top four most influential people in residential real estate every year consistently for over a decade.

Mark Willis, President and CEO of KW, ranked No. 10 on the SP 200 due to his continued efforts to grow KW and position the company as the place “Where Entrepreneurs Thrive.”

Since 1991, Willis has served in many leadership roles within KW’s franchise system, including market center owner, operating principal, team leader, regional director, past president from 2002 to 2005, and past CEO from 2005 to 2015.

Jason Abrams, Head of Industry and Learning at KW, was also named to the SP 200 Watchlist, which is composed of rapidly emerging real estate industry leaders.

With over 20 years of experience as a real estate business leader, Abrams has served as a market center operating principal, team leader, KW MAPS coach, and a founding board member of the nonprofit KW Kids Can. Since October 2023, Abrams has hosted the award-winning The Millionaire Real Estate Agent podcast.

The SP 200, created and published by real estate consulting firm T3 Sixty, is now in its 12th year. It is an annual analysis and ranking of the real estate industry’s 200 most powerful and influential leaders.

“The 2025 SP 200 highlights the evolving leadership necessary to navigate the shifting landscape of the residential real estate industry,” said Stefan Swanepoel, executive chairman of T3 Sixty.
