Citrix Highlights Commitments to Advancing Security Capabilities and Delivering Greater Value for Customers

Through the Secure by Design Pledge, FedRAMP High advancements, and strategic acquisitions, Citrix strengthens its platform to deliver greater innovation and benefits for customers

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--In today’s fast-paced digital world, security and innovation must go hand in hand. Citrix, a business unit of Cloud Software Group, Inc., announced today its renewed commitment to empowering customers with more advanced, secure solutions. Through continued investment in its Citrix platform, the company is delivering greater value and security, enabling customers to navigate an increasingly complex hybrid world confidently.

FedRAMP High Commitment

Citrix announced it is advancing its Citrix Cloud™ Government (CCG) platform, which is already FedRAMP Moderate authorized, to achieve FedRAMP High accreditation, enabling customers to securely process and store Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). FedRAMP High, a government standard for cloud security, ensures that Citrix meets the most stringent requirements of public sector customers, including the Department of Defense. This milestone underscores Citrix’s commitment to providing secure solutions tailored to the unique needs of the public sector.

Secure by Design Initiative

Joining over 250 leading companies, Citrix has signed the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA) Secure by Design Pledge, prioritizing comprehensive security measures. This initiative focuses on implementing industry best practices such as multi-factor authentication (MFA), timely security patches, and enhanced logging capabilities. By adopting the Secure by Design approach, Citrix demonstrates its dedication to delivering secure products that customers can trust.

Enhanced Security Through Strategic Acquisitions

The acquisitions of deviceTRUST GmbH and strong.network SA significantly enhances the Citrix platform by strengthening security and development capabilities. The deviceTRUST technology ensures real-time device compliance verification, reducing endpoint risk and enabling a secure hybrid work experience. The Strong Network™ platform adds secure cloud development environments with features like data loss prevention and compliance with NIST and ISO standards. These advancements deliver increased protection, visibility, and control, helping organizations succeed in dynamic work environments.

"As hybrid work continues to redefine business operations, Citrix is dedicated to providing solutions that meet the highest security standards and drive meaningful value for our customers," said Sridhar Mullapudi, co-president, Citrix. "Whether it’s providing real-time contextual access for VDI and DaaS environments with deviceTRUST or enabling secure application development with Strong Network, our platform delivers the confidence customers need to succeed in a hybrid work world."
