Milliman awards 14 Opportunity Scholarships in program’s eighth year

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Milliman, Inc., a premier global consulting and actuarial firm, is pleased to announce the 2024 recipients of its Opportunity Scholarship program.

The program was created to assist students in groups that are underrepresented in the fields of actuarial science, data science, computer science, economics, programming, mathematics, statistics, data analytics, or finance.

Since 2017, its inaugural year, Milliman has awarded 140 scholarships.

“We are pleased to recognize the accomplishments of these students and play a part in their academic progress,” said Milliman CEO Dermot Corry. “Our professions will benefit from their future leadership and perspectives, and it’s an honor to contribute to their success.”
