Cerio Announces Appointment of Bret Brasso as Chief Revenue Officer to Lead Corporate Growth and Market Expansion

Former NVIDIA executive joins to support the demand for accelerated computing and AI innovation in software-defined composable infrastructure environments

OTTAWA, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cerio today announced the appointment of network technology executive Bret Brasso as Chief Revenue Officer of the accelerated computing innovator. With more than two decades in global sales and revenue leadership, he will focus on unlocking market opportunities with enterprise organizations that are focused on driving demand for GPUs and specialized accelerators to manage their complex processing demands for new applications and services.

With an extensive track record in market development and leading revenue acceleration for enterprise technology vendors, Bret is poised to drive profitable growth by accelerating and broadening product sales, international expansion, and developing alternative routes to market. Prior to joining Cerio, Brasso was Head of Sales for the media and entertainment division at NVIDIA. Brasso had joined NVIDIA following an acquisition of Cumulus Networks, where he was VP, North America Sales. His proven expertise and innovative approach to revenue strategy makes him an excellent fit for Cerio, as the company embarks on an accelerated growth trajectory in media and entertainment and cloud computing environments.

“With his previous media and entertainment industry experience, strategic vision, and enterprise success, Bret is ideally suited to lead Cerio as the company enters its next stage of growth,” said Phil Harris, CEO. “Market-changing technologies require innovative leadership and a track record of successful execution — Bret brings all this, and more.”

“Cerio is entering an exciting new phase of growth, with software-defined architecture that transforms the way that systems are deployed, giving organizations full control over the choice and scale of their infrastructure,” said Brasso. “Our approach to composing any resource at any business problem, at any scale is a mic drop moment.”
