GS Power Partners Significantly Expands Executive Bench, Continues Operational and Financial Initiatives to Support Distributed Generation Solar Portfolio

Industry Veteran and Former CohnReznick Executive Nick Sangermano is President of GS Power Partners; Chief Strategy Officer, CFO and former Nexamp Executive Join Leadership Team

STAMFORD, Conn. & NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GS Power Partners, formerly known as Green Street Power Partners, today announced key promotions and additions to its executive team. These strategic appointments, along with ongoing initiatives, will support the company’s plans to expand its Distributed Generation (DG) solar pipeline and portfolio in select markets. As a developer, builder, financier, owner and operator with almost a decade of experience in DG solar projects, GS Power Partners is now poised for significant growth, following CVC DIF’s investment in the company.

Jason Kuflik, GS Power Partners CEO and co-founder, leads the company’s strategy and vision to advance the energy transition through responsible investments and industry partnerships. Seasoned Leadership Onboarded

Nick Sangermano, an industry veteran with 20+ years of direct experience in power, capital markets, and renewables, serves as President of GS Power Partners. In his new role, Sangermano helps to shape the company’s strategic direction while overseeing commercial efforts. Previously, he held leadership roles with CohnReznick, Rubicon and CleanCapital, and has raised over $3 billion of capital in solar, wind, hydro and geothermal to advance the energy transition.

Lori Arndt has joined GS Power Partners as Chief Strategy Officer. She brings more than 25 years of experience in investment banking and clean energy to her role. Arndt is responsible for guiding the company’s strategic initiatives and overseeing its decision-making processes. She is an expert in organizational development and has provided counsel to a range of companies, from small, innovative start-ups to large corporations.

As CFO, Marshall Anderson leads the company’s project finance and capital markets strategy, while also overseeing fiscal planning and operational finance. He has a 20-year track record of successful operations and capital markets leadership, and significant experience bringing development, asset management and finance teams together to enhance execution of strategic initiatives. Most recently, he served as managing director at private equity firm JLC Infrastructure. Marshall is replacing Amir Richulsky who was instrumental to the development of GS Power Partners over the past four years as he built up the finance team.

General Counsel Nick Kamphaus, formerly SVP & Deputy General Counsel at Nexamp, brings over 15 years of legal experience, including nearly a decade driving legal and regulatory strategy in the renewable energy sector. As General Counsel, he leads the company’s legal, compliance, and corporate governance functions, as well as managing partnerships and deal flow structuring.

Executive Realignment

The company has also promoted long-standing company leaders to ramp up market development and acquisition activities.

Amanda Zurla, an executive who has been with GS Power Partners since its founding, was promoted to Chief Development Officer. She is responsible for steering the company’s development efforts, including strategies for acquiring new projects and maintaining stakeholder relations, encompassing landowners and potential development partners. In previous roles, she brought 189 megawatts (MWdc) of operational solar assets under the company’s management.

Osman Sediqi has held a variety of positions at GS Power Partners, working across both asset and project management areas. He was recently promoted to Chief Operating Officer, and will oversee the Asset Management teams. Osman has 15 years of experience in the solar industry, encompassing a broad range of responsibilities, including procurement, project delivery, and a strong emphasis on asset management. Osman's extensive prior experience will contribute to the successful management of GS Power Partners’ rapidly growing portfolio of assets.
