Operation HOPE Launches New Scholarship Initiative

HOPE Scholarships Offer New Way for Operation HOPE Clients to Access up to $10,000 Worth of Financial Coaching Services at No-Cost through the Support of HOPE’s Partners, Members and Donors

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Operation HOPE, a national nonprofit dedicated to helping low-and moderate-income Americans thrive in an ever-changing economy, announced today that it has launched HOPE Scholarships, a new way for Operation HOPE’s clients to access HOPE’s award-winning, no-cost financial coaching and educational resources and for partners, members and donors to support HOPE’s services to underserved communities.

While financial coaching rates can range between $100 and $300 per hour on average, Operation HOPE is committed to providing best-in-class financial coaching services at no cost to its clients. This is possible though the generous support of HOPE’s partners, members and donors. Now, HOPE clients can get access to HOPE’s financial coaching services and HOPE partners, members and donors can support HOPE’s efforts through three scholarship levels:

  • HOPE Lite ($1K value): Clients receive an introductory session with a financial wellbeing coach, access to base LMS courses, credit report review & consultation, HOPE Financial Wellness Index review & consultation and more
  • HOPE Classic ($5K value): Clients receive all the benefits of HOPE Lite plus access to the Operation HOPE knowledge base, 3 one-on-one coaching sessions, two credit reports, access to two Credit & Money Management virtual workshops and more
  • HOPE Silver ($10K value): Clients receive all the benefits of HOPE Lite and HOPE Classic plus assignment to a dedicated financial wellbeing coach, access to 5 one-hour workshops, access to 8 one-hour homeownership workshops, quarterly credit reports for 12 months, individualized action plans & budgets and more

The launch of HOPE Scholarships coincides with the upcoming annual meeting of the HOPE Global Forums from December 9-11 in Atlanta, which brings together thousands of Operation HOPE’s corporate partners, donors and members and gives them the opportunity to see first-hand the impact of their scholarship investments through client testimonials and success stories. The HOPE Global Forums is also a venue for gathering hundreds of new commitments to support HOPE programs that serve millions of youth and adults around the world.
