Sam Marnick Appointed President of Latecoere Americas

TOULOUSE, France--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Regulatory News:

Latecoere (Paris:LAT), a tier 1 supplier to major international aircraft manufacturers, is pleased to announce the appointment of Sam Marnick as President of Latecoere Americas, effective now. She will report to the Group CEO, André-Hubert Roussel, and will be directly responsible for Aerostructures Operations Americas.

Sam brings deep experience in the American aerospace ecosystem. Her leadership will help accelerate the development of the Group in this region to focus on delivering against growing customer needs for products & services as well as driving growth given the extensive capability set across complex aerostructures assembly, composites, machining and interconnection systems across all different production sites. Sam has been a member of Latecoere’s Board of Directors since April 2024 and has had the benefit of visiting many of the Group sites since her appointment.

Sam Marnick commented: “I am excited to start in my new role at Latecoere. Having seen first-hand the capabilities we have in a number of our sites and having met many people on the team, I believe there is huge potential for this business ahead as we seek to deliver on the growing needs of our customers. There is obviously a lot of work ahead as we are still operating in an environment with significant supply chain disruption which needs to be managed.”

Sam has spent most of her career in the American aerospace industry, particularly at Spirit AeroSystems. Most recently, as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and President of the Commercial business, she led a team of over 12,000 employees across nine sites in the United States, Europe and Asia, managing a $5 billion P&L. Her scope included manufacturing operations and the supply chain.

A search to identify a replacement for Sam’s board position has been launched, and Latecoere intends to appoint that replacement as soon as possible.
